Importance and role of CA Seminars
Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI) organizes technical and non-technical seminars for sharing knowledge and updates with the members of the institute. The members are the fellow and associate CA’s who are serving the industry and as a result, promoting the economy. The seminars are designed in a way that CA’s can get the maximum benefit out of it. As continuous learning is the key requirement of CA’s, attending seminars helps in gaining momentum on the latest developments in the industry/business.
For being a member of the institute, it is also a requirement to have CPE (continuous professional education) hours for Chartered accountants in practice as well as in service.
Attending seminars not only helps in increasing our knowledge base but also very good for networking with peer members of the institute. For example, if a fresher CA is looking for a job, he or she by networking may get introduced to a fellow CA who can offer a job opportunity. In CA fraternity, most of the work gets done with the help of networking and sharing knowledge.
