Hard work is definitely important because it is only through hard work that we can achieve the goals of our life. Hard work would mean spending long hours to complete work without any shortcuts. You may not sometimes achieve what you really want to, but in the long run, you will realize that the things you have learned during your journey are far more important than the victory or success itself.
Everybody has their methods of doing and performing their tasks but considering the time requirement nowadays one must do smart work along with the consistency in doing any task. A good worker is not necessarily a hard worker but a smart worker. The essence of being a smart worker is that the worker will be able to achieve more within a limited time. Smart workers often have a definite goal and narrow down their focus on what is achievable and possible. This will save you energy and time.
